The Gaskell Journal operates a strictly anonymous peer-review system and accepts articles for publication throughout the year.
We welcome contributions on any aspect of Gaskell Studies of 6,000-7,000 words, which offer an original scholarly perspective on an aspect of Gaskell’s works. We also welcome shorter articles of biographical interest and reviews.

Articles should be submitted by/on March 1st to be considered for publication in the journal of the same year.
Please use MHRA style referring, where possible, to the Oxford World’s Classics editions. Please follow the instructions in the Stylesheet when you are preparing your article for submission.
